Sheryl Lyons Launches New Business – Culture Spark

Houston Business leaders access expertise to deliberately build vibrant workplace cultures.

Houston, Texas – 9/17/2015 – Sheryl Lyons, native Houstonian and experienced business leader, announced the opening of her new consulting business, Culture Spark, LLC at a lunch with friends and family at the Tasting Room on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.  She was introduced by Raleigh Jenkins of ABC Home & Commercial Services and surrounded by supporters from Vistage International, Growth Advocates and Industry Master’s Forum.  Her father, Marty Rolleg, concluded the event with a heart warming champagne toast.

Lyons’ consulting work through Culture Spark will help business leaders truly align their business strategy with the people needed to execute it.  Her methodology includes an initial cultural assessment, clarification of company purpose, values, goals and roles, and implementation of communications and HR programs to support the cultural transformation.  With alignment and clarification comes incredible focus, resulting in increased employee engagement and ultimately, performance.

“After 17 years in HR and 5 years in executive leadership, I solved many problems stemming from management dysfunction and employee dissatisfaction. I was driven to develop a methodology that strengthens leadership while addressing the root causes of employee disengagement and dissatisfaction.  I love helping leaders inspire their people, giving employees both purpose and belonging in their work.”  states Lyons.

Prior to starting Culture Spark, Sheryl was the CEO of a Houston-based Human Resources outsourcing firm servicing small and mid-sized businesses.  She worked for ABC Home and Commercial Services and Willis Johnson & Associates during the last year as she built her business methodology.  Sheryl has an MBA from University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, and a BA from Texas A&M University.
